October Half Term

Enjoy a fun-filled adventure this October

Autumn is one of our favourite times of year in the North of England and the South of Scotland: warm russet colours sweep the countryside, long walks are accompanied with a sparkling layer of crunchy frost, bobble hats and woolly scarves make their yearly appearance and quaint country cottages are rendered cosy with thick blankets and warming log fires.

If you're looking for an autumnal break to keep the spirits up until Christmas than look no further than our collection of cosy escapes. From modern coastal apartments from which you can embark on long windswept walks before returning for a well-earned mug of hot chocolate (marshmallows optional but greatly encouraged!) and remote bothies where you can hole up and play board games to large listed manor houses with plenty of heating to keep all the family happy and warm, we've got just what you're looking for - so all you need to worry about is having a good old fashioned family adventure.

Whether you fancy building dens, splashing about in streams, riding bikes, building sandcastles on the beach or exploring medieval castles, lighthouses and remote islands, this corner of the world has so much to offer families who love the great outdoors.

These properties are available throughout the upcoming October half term weeks (16th - 27th October 2023). Some of our holiday homes and cottages are available for full weeks whilst others can be booked for short breaks.
