Neville Tower at Bamburgh Castle

"I wanted to let you know that my wife and I had an amazing time staying at the Neville Tower at Bamburgh Castle. It was truly a once in a lifetime experience and something we will never forget. The staff at the castle was absolutely phenomenal, going above and beyond for us and making us feel welcome from beginning to end. Neville itself was clean, cozy, and comfortable, and we really loved staying there. Thanks to the staffs at Crabtree and Bamburgh for all you did to make that happen."

"We had a fabulous time at Neville Tower in Bamburgh Castle. We had booked it about 11 months ago and have been so looking forward to our visit and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The accommodation is one of the best places I have stayed in. Really comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well equipped we had decided as the evenings would be long in January we would cater for ourselves and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was really thoughtful to have a welcome basket of goodies on our arrival. Thank you. The lounge has amazing views and definitely has the “wow” factor. Finally, the people we spoke to in the castle were lovely and Crabtree and Crabtree were a pleasure to deal with. All information provided was really clear to follow and dealt with promptly."

"This was a longheld dream to stay in Bamburgh Castle, as it was the area of many happy childhood holidays for me. Despite the fact our visit was postponed twice due to covid, it ultimately worked in our favour, as a long weekend in November morphed into a whole week in July blessed with perfect weather. The friends we took with us were absolutely bowled over by the beauty of the Northumberland coastline - as we knew they would be. And as for the Neville Tower itself, well it certainly lived up to expectations. Stunning views from every window of the Farne Islands in one direction and Lindisfarne in the other, plus of course that spectacular beach. The sunsets were magnificent and having the whole place to ourselves once it was closed to the public each day was truly magical. The property was beautifully decorated and furnished, very comfortable and well equipped with everything you needed. We were also hugely impressed with the team at Crabtree and Crabtree who handled the pandemic related issues brilliantly and best of all had real people at the end of the phone line at all times!"

Our stay at Neville Tower was simply wonderful - I booked it as a surprise for my husband’s 50th as Bamburgh Castle is his all time favourite place - and it simply couldn’t have been a better choice. It’s such a special place to stay, beautifully furnished and we felt very privileged to be in our ‘own’ little castle. There is so much to do and see locally as well. And the hamper was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Absolutely unforgettable."

"Thank you for a fabulous holiday in Neville Tower,Bamburgh Castle. The views from all the windows were superb, the Castle on one side and the beautiful bay on the other. Every detail of Neville Tower was brilliant. The welcome basket was a lovely and welcome surprise. This is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful county of Northumberland,it’s castles and beautiful coastline. We managed to visit 6 castles the week we were there, all very different.The most fascinating one that caught our imagination was Chillingham. Wow what an experience. 

Cannot speak highly enough of Crabtree and Crabtree and will definitely book with them again.

"Well what can we say about Neville Tower, an amazing place quite quirky in its layout, spacious, warm and welcoming. Returning on our first evening, it really feels like you have the keys to the castle, opening the ancient gates is quite surreal. The welcome pack was great, I also have to thank the housekeepers. I contacted them prior to my arrival and the were great, very quick response. I don’t know how Crabtree & Crabtree do it?
