This year sees the Milne Graden Cottages celebrate their 10th Birthday! To kick off a year of Milne Graden Magic we are offering you the chance to win a 3 or 4 night stay in your choice of Milne Graden Cottage! From cosy gate lodges for two to elegant houses for families, larger groups and any four-legged friends, the Milne Graden Cottages truly offer something for everyone.

Tucked away on the border of Scotland and Northumberland, the Milne Graden Estate sits in a spectacular location with sweeping river views, bluebell-studded woodland and unpolluted dark skies for impressive star shows. There’s fishing on the internationally-renowned River Tweed that flows through the estate on its way to meet the sea at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Just a few miles from the estate, the magnificent heritage coast offers mile upon mile of unspoilt sandy beaches to explore.
From cosy gate lodges for two to elegant houses for families, larger groups and any four-legged friends, the eight charming holiday homes and cottages at Milne Graden truly offer something for everyone. With the Tweed on the doorstep, this is an ideal base for fishing parties. The estate’s own beat which is available to guests at additional cost extends to about 1.4 miles of single bank fishing.
The local area is packed with interest. Hike through the Cheviot Hills or stroll across stunning beaches. Go kite-surfing or coastal kayaking. Marvel at the silver staircase at Manderston House. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands, home to thousands of seabirds and a grey seal colony. On the way home, pop in for a pint of local ale at The Black Bull at Etal, Northumberland’s only thatched pub. Or let us arrange for dinner to be delivered to you, light the fire, pour yourself a glass of something nice and relax.
Where will you choose to stay if you win our competition?
Sleeping 6 guests: Hamilton House or School House.
Sleeping 4+2 guests: Garden House.
Sleeping 4 guests: Tweedside.
Sleeping 2 guests: North Lodge or West Lodge.
The Competition
Step 1: Head over to our Facebook page and 'Like' us (if you don't already!).
Step 2: Add a comment with your name to our Milne Graden competition post - this will be pinned to the top of our page until the 21st of February, so you can't miss it.
Step 3: Share the post to your own Facebook timeline.
You have until 3pm on Wednesday 21st February to enter. A winner will be selected at random and notified later that afternoon... good luck!
The Terms & Conditions
Date Restrictions: the winning stay must be taken between Friday 23rd February – Friday 25th May 2018. (The Easter holiday dates of Friday 23rd March - Friday 13th April are not included.)
The prize consists of: a 3 night stay (taken from a Friday - Monday) or a 4 night stay (taken from a Monday - Friday) in one of the Milne Graden Cottages.
Entrants must be at least 18 years of age.
The number of guests must not exceed the stated maximum occupancy for the selected cottage.
The cottages at Milne Graden are very dog friendly. The winner must let Crabtree & Crabtree know if they plan to bring dogs; please see individual cottage pages for details.
Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The prize winner must be present for the duration of the stay at the property.
